- For Chikitsa Sahayak written exam and viva, the minimum pass marks for each is 33 percent. For NDDY written papers and viva minimum pass marks to be scored in each is 40 percent but the total of written papers and viva must be not less than 45 percent for qualifying in the exam. Those who fail will have to deposit prescribed fee again for re appearing in the exam.
- Deciding the Division: Minimuni pass marks in written examination and viva for the two categories of examination is as follows:
(a) Chikitsa Sahayak
Pass Marks 33%
II Division 45%
I Division 60%
Distinction 75%
(b) N.D.D.Y. EXAMINATION
Pass Marks in papers 40% but aggregate 45%

Distinction 75% - Samiti will issue certificates after the Chikitsa Sahayak examination and Diploma after N. D. D. Y. Third Year. No separate certificate/ diploma will be issued for N. D. D. Y. First Year and N. D. D. Y. Second Year examinations. Only marks sheet will be issued after each year. Placement in divisions in respect of N. D. D. Y, shall be based on the total marks obtained in all the three examinations.
- The students who want to work as Chikitsa Sahayak will take practical training for three months (after passing the Chikitsa Sahayak 1st semester and Chikitsa Sahayak 2nd semestar examinations) in some Clinic or Hospital recognised by the Samiti. After having obtained experience certificate, they can get certificate as a Chikitsa Sahayak.
- After completion of N.D.D.Y. final, each student will take practical training for six months in the centres recognised by Samiti. On submission of certificate of successful completion of internship and a project report followed by an interview Diploma will be conferred, subject to good conduct and efficiency of the candidate.
